The 1979 Buffalo Nickel Buckle "Black Diamond"

The 1979 Buffalo Nickel Buckle "Black Diamond"

This isn’t a reproduction. This is the real deal.

One only.

Cast in solid pewter by the Great American Buckle Company in 1979, this limited-run Buffalo Nickel buckle carries a copyright stamp, a Chicago maker’s mark, and a unique serial number (#335).

The design itself is iconic — the Buffalo Nickel, first struck in 1913, designed by James Earle Fraser as a tribute to the American frontier. One side carried the Native American portrait, the other a a hulking bison named Black Diamond. It was a coin that symbolised strength, grit, and a country still defining itself.

We’ve paired it with our signature 3mm of Irongrain buffalo leather, Black, cut, edged, and finished by hand. Together, buckle and belt weigh heavy in the hand and sit proud on the waist.

This is a piece you’ll wear in, not out.
